About

So you may be wondering what on Earth this blog is even about, which is fair.

Who am I?

My name is Thomas, I’m 22 and I’m from the UK. I’ve been a PC gamer since I was fairly young and as a kid I mainly played Playstation One and Playstation Two games. I effectively started this blog because I have a Vivaldi community account and so thought I’d make use of the free blog 🙂

I, like many people out there, have amassed a very large backlog of games over the course of the years. This spans PC, PS Vita and PS2 currently and my goal is to try and use this blog as a way of encouraging me to actually play through everything and document the process along the way.

How am I tracking progress?

For this I will be using How Long to Beat (which is a great site) and you can find my profile right here. I will be tracking my exact time to beat games through the site, because at least then it feels to me like I’m helping other users out in the meantime.

I will be keeping each entry for each game as like a live blog, updating it as things change or as I go through the sessions. I’m not really sure if anyone will enjoy this, but it’s something I used to do as part of a Blogger page I had in the past called “Gamer’s Union” where I reviewed games as an incentive to actually play through them.

What are you playing on?

In terms of hardware, my PC has the following specs:

  • CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 1600 @ 3.2GHz
  • GPU: Nvidia GeForce GTX 970
  • RAM: 16GB
  • Motherboard: Biostar X370GTN
  • Monitors: 2x Dell 1920×1080 screens (one 23.4′, one 21.5′)

My PS Vita is a second generation one, so without any of the cool hacker stuff on it and my PS2 is the SCPH9000x model variant (the slim one but with the power supply built in)

Enjoy folks 🙂

Thomas
